Memorial sculptures and plaques in the Chapel

Daniel Lock, by Roubiliac

Some of the older memorials in the Chapel take the form of carved plaques, imitation catafalques, and images of the deceased.  Some of these are of high artistic quality, notably the bust of Daniel Lock by Roubiliac (who also carved the statue of Newton), left.  Several interesting carvings are to be found in the Vestry.
