Edward Bathurst
c.1651-1719. Fellow; Vicar and Priest of Arrington, Chesterton, Bottisham and Trumpington.
The son of Sir Edward Bathurst, baronet, of Lechlade in Gloucester, he attended Westminster School before being admitted as pensioner at Trinity on 26th June 1666. He won a scholarship in 1667, and became a fellow on receiving his MA in 1673.
He was ordained priest in London on 23rd December 1677, and incorporated at Oxford in 1681. He was successively Vicar of four College livings in Cambridgeshire: Arrington (1687), Chesterton (1694) and Trumpington (1695 until his death), as well as Bottisham (1708-16). He was buried in this Chapel on 1st March 1719.
