Event to mark the 350th anniversary of the birth of Nicolas de Grigny
A performance of De Grigny's Messe pour Orgue with alternatim plainchant by Organ Scholars from the University of Cambridge and a plainsong choir directed by Matthew Martin (Gonville & Caius).
The performance will be followed by a symposium in the Senior Parlour, Gonville & Caius College, when Edward Higginbottom and David Ponsford will discuss aspects of the Organ Mass and de Grigny's style and performance practices.
