Charities
Money collected at Sunday services and other special services is donated to charity. Normally two charities are chosen each term, one national or international, and the other local to Cambridge.
Concrete Rose |
UNICEF Sudan Emergency Appeal |
A local initiative offering additional support for those aged 16-23 who are at risk of homelessness including care leavers, those estranged from family, unaccompanied asylum seekers, and young parents. Mentoring and supported lodgings are a couple of the ways Concrete Rose meets the needs of local young people. |
Children and families in Sudan need urgent protection and humanitarian aid. UNICEF is working for safe passage, protection, and access to services for children, families and their staff across the country during this time of armed violence. |
The proceeds of our Advent Carol Service are always given to Trinity in Camberwell and those from Remembrance Sunday to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. If you would like to nominate a charity as a recipient of Chapel offerings, please speak to one of the Chaplains.
