Money collected at Sunday services and other special services is donated to charity.  Normally two charities are chosen each term, one national or international, and the other local to Cambridge.  The charities are chosen by students who are part of the Chapel community.

This term's charities:

Every day 17 parents in the UK are grief-stricken by the loss of their babies and hundreds more suffer complications and miscarriage of their pregnancy. Petals provides a specialised counselling service at Addenbrookes.

The UNHCR works to ensure that everyone has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge in another country. During times of displacement this United Nations refugee agency provides emergency assistance, and they also arrange support for people who return home or resettle.

The proceeds of our Advent Carol Service are always given to Trinity in Camberwell and those from Remembrance Sunday to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. If you would like to nominate a charity as a recipient of Chapel offerings, please speak to one of the Chaplains.
