Charities

Money collected at Sunday services and other special services is donated to charity. Normally two charities are chosen each term, one national or international, and the other local to Cambridge. The charities are often chosen by students who are part of the Chapel community.

Re-Engage

Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies are giving life-saving relief, working to get aid trucks across the Rafah broder and providing emergency medical services. The ICRC provides humanitarian assistance as required on both sides and advocates on behalf of hostages held in Gaza. The neutrality of the Red Cross is what allows it to access communities, gain trust and get help to where it's needed most.

This umbrella charity connects isolated people aged 75
and older with local groups like the one in Cambridge.
Volunteer drivers then collect older guests and take
them to a venue where they’ll share afternoon tea, cake
and companionship. Through Trinity Engage, with help
from our students, we are hosting regular tea parties
here at Trinity.

The proceeds of our Advent Carol Service are always given to Trinity in Camberwell and those from Remembrance Sunday to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. If you would like to nominate a charity as a recipient of Chapel offerings, please speak to one of the Chaplains.
