Charities

Money collected at Sunday services and other special services is donated to charity.  Normally two charities are chosen each term, one national or international, and the other local to Cambridge.  The charities are chosen by students who are part of the Chapel community.

This term's charities:

Wintercomfort

ActionAid

Wintercomfort

ActionAid

For over 28 years Wintercomfort has supported people who are homeless or who are at risk of losing their home in Cambridge. Wintercomfort supports those who are sleeping rough, in local shelters, living in temporary accommodation or vulnerably housed.

Around the world, women and children are affected the most by poverty. ActionAid puts women and children at the centre of their work, ensuring that girls go to and stay in school, working with communities to end gender-based violence, and training women to gain skills that they need to earn a living.

The proceeds of our Advent Carol Service are always given to Trinity in Camberwell and those from Remembrance Sunday to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. If you would like to nominate a charity as a recipient of Chapel offerings, please speak to one of the Chaplains.
