Charities

Money collected at Sunday services and other special services is donated to charity. Normally two charities are chosen each term, one national or international, and the other local to Cambridge. The charities are often chosen by students who are part of the Chapel community.

GiveDirectly

This local charity aims to help give every child the best possible start in life by supporting families. They train volunteers to provide tailored practical and emotional support through weekly visits and run support groups in Cambridge and Wisbech.

Give Directly sends money directly to the world's poorest households, believing that people living in poverty deserve the dignity to choose for themselves how best to improve their lives – cash enables that choice. Individuals invest in what they need from school fees to irrigation, tin roofs, and to bisinesses that generate income.

The proceeds of our Advent Carol Service are always given to Trinity in Camberwell and those from Remembrance Sunday to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. If you would like to nominate a charity as a recipient of Chapel offerings, please speak to one of the Chaplains.
