Charities

Money collected at Sunday services and other special services is donated to charity.  Normally two charities are chosen each term, one national or international, and the other local to Cambridge.  The charities are chosen by students who are part of the Chapel community.

This term's charities:

Emmaus Cambridge

Malaria Consortium

On a site that was originally two derelict barns, Emmaus Cambridge now has a community of 34 companion bedrooms as well as a furniture emporium and a cafe, helping those who find themselves homeless to regain their self-esteem by carrying out meaningful work and supporting those less fortunate than themselves.

The proceeds of our Advent Carol Service are always given to Trinity in Camberwell and those from Remembrance Sunday to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. If you would like to nominate a charity as a recipient of Chapel offerings, please speak to one of the Chaplains.
