Money collected at Sunday services and other special services is donated to charity.  Normally two charities are chosen each term, one national or international, and the other local to Cambridge.  The charities are chosen by students who are part of the Chapel community.

This term's charities:

AMAR Foundation

Cancer Research UK

AMAR works in the Middle East, building and improving the lives and livelihoods of some of the world’s poorest and most disadvantaged people. Since June 2014, AMAR have been working throughout Iraq to help more than  3.4 million people forced from their homes, building, equipping, and running purpose-built health clinics, employing local people and using local resources wherever possible.

CRUK want survival in the UK to be among the best in the world by focusing efforts in four key areas – working to help prevent cancer, diagnose it earlier, develop new treatments and optimise current treatments.

The proceeds of our Advent Carol Service are always given to Trinity in Camberwell and those from Remembrance Sunday to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. If you would like to nominate a charity as a recipient of Chapel offerings, please speak to one of the Chaplains.
